Grace's Coaching Journey
Grace has often described herself as a Renaissance woman. Weekly trips to the library while growing up cultivated her love of reading and learning.  She has a wide range of passions and practices: yoga, meditation, tennis, organic gardening, healthy cooking, and parenting. Her interest in wellness and personal development led her to the field of coaching. She opened her coaching business, Balance with Grace, in 2000.  In her coaching, writing, and training, Grace has focused on helping people create professional success while enjoying more balanced lives.  She’s helped career-changers gain clarity and move forward into more fulfilling directions; she’s mentored new coaches to grow their businesses, themselves, and their coaching skills; and she's helped busy professionals move from overwhelm to balance.

As a member of Team Northrup, she illuminates the connection between financial, physical, and emotional health and well-being in order to achieve vibrant health in these areas herself while teaching others how to do the same.
Team Northrup is a group of men and women who are philosophically aligned with the work of Christiane Northrup, M.D., one of the country's most respected authorities on women's health, and author of several New York Times best-selling books including Women's Bodies, Women's Wisdom, and The Wisdom of Menopause.

Grace is committed to the on-going pursuit of coaching mastery. Grace is a graduate of Coach U where she has served on the faculty since 2004. She has also completed The Evolutionary Network’s advanced coach training program. She holds the Professional Certified Coach credential from the International Coach Federation, ICF, and is in the processing of applying for her Master Certified Coach credential.  She has also earned the Professional Mentor Coach designation from Coach U.  She currently volunteers as an ICF exam assessor. She is a Past President of ICF-NE, the New England Chapter of the ICF, where she has served on the Board for over four years.

Grace's Reiki Path

Always fascinated with alternative healing, Grace began working with Reiki in 2002 when she did her Reiki I training. She used Reiki primarily for self-care, with friends and family, and during Reiki shares with other practictioners. Grace chose to progress slowly but steadily on her Reiki path. She did her Reiki II training in 2005 and began offering distance Reiki to clients when they were ill or preparing or recovering from surgery. She waited another four years before taking Reiki III Advanced level training. It wasn’t until making a new dream map for herself while leading a retreat in the fall of 2009 that she realized she was being called to do more coaching with Reiki and to teach others how to do this. Shortly after this epiphany she took the final steps to complete her Reiki Master training and Reiki Master teacher training.

Grace's passionate life purpose
Grace is excited about the potential of these two paths
-coaching and Reiki- weaving together. Clients are eager to experience the combined power of coaching with Reiki and have been delighted with the results. Awakening the healing powers of others through passing Reiki attunements and teaching Reiki is the latest expression of Grace's life purpose: to be a conduit, connecting others to Source/Spirit, to their inner wisdom, and to the resources they need to flourish. Grace is especially passionate about training other coaches in Coaching with Reiki as it compounds the ripple effect of good work spreading through the world.
